You will be placed in a holding cell. If there are a lot of arrests, you may not be processed immediately.
The first thing you will have to to is you will answer some simple questions, like what is your full legal name, home address, birth date and an emergency contact person, and also, you will also be asked about your psychological and medical history. Next, you will be issued an inmate ID number and your fingerprints will be taken. Then, all of your personal property will get taken away from you and stored until you are discharged.
You will be allowed to use the telephone to get in touch with family, friends, or loved one.
If you think you will get released quickly, they will let you keep wearing your own clothes, otherwise you will be issued a jail uniform – the jumpsuit.
Discharge Procedures
When you finally post bail, you will be discharged from jail. This process will take anywhere between 15 minutes to all day long. Or, simply, the quicker bail is posted, the quicker you will get out of jail. Also, how fast you get released can depend on whether or not you’ve got a bond amount or if the magistrate has to figure out how much to set your bail at. When you have served out your jail sentence and have a release date, expect to be discharged at any time that day – but usually in the morning.

How To Save Money on Inmate Calls
Correctional facility phone service providers have a monopoly at each facility that they have a contract with, which means that they get to set the prices. The money these phone service providers make from all phone calls that inmates make are shared with the facility, so there is no incentive for the jail or the counselors at the facility to show inmates or their family how to save money on inmate phone calls at the Uintah County Jail. The rates are posted and there are at least two pricing tiers based on where the inmate is calling. The following three things will determine the cost of an inmate phone call: Where you are located; Where your inmate is located, What type of phone number you have.
For example, if your inmate is in federal prison, if you get a new local number then this will decrease your inmate’s phone call rate from $.21 per minute to only $.06 per minute.
For the other correctional facilities like state prisons, and local and county jails finding out how to decrease your inmates phone charges is more difficult. ArrestedResources.com is an expert in keeping up with all of the changes that affect your inmate’s calling rate and in most cases is able to offer you an inmate calling number that will save you significantly on how much it costs you to call your inmate. There are some prisons or jails where we will not be able to save you any money, and therefore we will not offer you an inmate calling number. In these cases, the jail or prison has set their calling prices so high that nobody will be able to save you money.
